anything new?

FYI: Ecclesiastes 1:9 (New International Version)

What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun

The haiku does not explain Ecclesiastes 1:9; it re-enacts its paradox in miniature. Ecclesiastes offers a pronouncement; the haiku offers a question. The philosophical conclusion is therefore left unstated... For more detailed comments, see "Reading More and Writing Better: Anything New? Haiku"
