the darkness pierced
only by flashlights

Fukushima plant --
the vending machines
still glowing

Ishinomaki:
a baby found alive
in wood and mud

a dog rescued
from drifting ocean debris --
the sun rising

radioactive scare
this a world of dew
and yet...
